Calm and Joy

Calm & Joy with Gabrielle Treanor : Gabrielle talks with Dipti Solanki and great music too.

Bringing Calm & Joy to your day Gabrielle is joined by Dipti Solanki.
Dipti Solanki is a coach guiding grieving people through the healing process. We often link grief to the death of a person but we experience grief in many ways, for example when a relationship or we lose a job. And while we can be in the absolute depths of grief it is still possible (and necessary) to find moments of calm and joy.
In this episode Gabrielle and Dipti talk about:
What makes grieving even harder to deal with
How to help ourselves when we’re in the thick of grief
How to support someone else who’s grieving
What gets in our way of finding calm and joy (besides grief itself) and how we can allow ourselves to feel it.

Enjoy.

Calm & Joy: Gabrielle Treanor is joined Bridget Johns a declutter coach and life organiser.

In this episode of Calm & Joy Gabrielle is joined by Bridget Johns, a declutter coach, life organiser and the founder of Be Simply Free.

About Bridget:
Hi, I am Bridget Johns, a declutter coach, life organiser, and the founder of Be Simply Free. I help women create systems in their lives to ease the “mental load” and reduce the physical and emotional “clutter” in their homes, calendars and minds so they can move from stress to less, and live a life of more!

Past me
I was living a seemingly normal life with a home full of “stuff” that I was forever organising, forever “updating” by buying more “stuff”. My weekends were filled with cleaning rather than enjoying my life with family & friends. From the outside looking in, my life probably looked “perfect”. In truth, I was a sleep-deprived mum. I was a perfectionist paralysed by the tasks that look too big to complete – “So why bother starting them?” I put so much pressure on myself to give 110% to each area of my life, except myself.

I’m a mum of a taller than me adult man, a beautiful teenage daughter, and a five-year-old furchild named Abbey.

A few years ago, I chose to end my marriage after a 23-year long relationship, not because I no longer loved my husband, but out of love & respect for myself – it was bloody hard.

Calm & Joy with Gabrielle Treanor – Gabrielle is joined by Sasha Glasgow talking about journaling.

In this episode of Calm and Joy Gabrielle talks with Sasha Glasgow about how journaling can bring calm & joy into our lives.
About Sasha. My email bio reads ‘writer, doubter, doer.’ Even though I’ve been writing in some form from the age of eight, I only started saying ‘I’m a writer’ last year. A rebellious statement for a self-doubter terrified by how absolute and assured ‘I am’ sentences feel.

Frank+Feel was meant to be an independent candle brand, with words wedged in somewhere. I wanted to document the journey of starting a creative venture, but with the behind-the-scenes being front and centre, because effort should be seen and known and recognised and felt. As you can see, candles are very much the background to a plethora of notebooks and musings instead nowadays.

About Emily.
I have been on a huge journey, that continues today, to learn and understand as much as I can about Autism and my family.

Autism/Neurodiversity brings so many wonderful things to the world, it is magical, creative and so very powerful. I firmly believe we need neurodiverse people to change the world. However, our world is designed by neurotypical people, so it’s not always straightforward to do life.

I think that’s where I come in! I am neurotypical but I seem to be pretty good at supporting my neurodiverse family to thrive, live their best lives, and enable them to bring their unique gifts to the world. Remember to listen to Yowah Radio online 24/7 at www.yowahradio.co.uk
